Having read the stuff out of the USEA today, the joint letter from David and Kevin, yes you have to wonder what action they can do that will change the mentality of competitors. Rather than the courses.
Thats not an easy thing to do. Not to belittle the sport but to fully prevent these things from happening they need to stop the CC all together, radical I know.
Suspending riders for 30 days wont mean anything if they are in hospital with more serious injuries.
Ok preventing CC from going ahead is not going to happen but certainly some rather strong changes need to occur to alter the mindset of the riders, which is currently, ride faster and jump higher as soon as we can.
