Eventing clinic to benefit Area III Adult Riders Print E-mail
Saturday, 21 June 2008

A great and very affordable clinic has been organized to benefit the Area III Adult Riders program in Aiken SC on July 12th-13th 2008. The clinic at Paradise Farm will be conducted by Amy Nichols with Lellie Ward.

There will be private dressage lessons, small group stadium lessons and small group cross country lessons and for the great price of $165 stabling Saturday night is included (with shavings) and additional nights are $20.

About the Clinic:

Amy Nichols will take her USEA Instructor Certification Program (ICP) Assessment exam in August. She has participated in USEA ICP dressage and jumping clinics taught by Robin Walker, and would like to do some additional practice teaching in preparation for the assessment. Lellie Ward has generously offered the use of her great Paradise Farm facility for the clinic, and will act as an ICP assessor to provide a critique of Amy's teaching. So this promises to be a very educational and entertaining experience for riders wanting to improve their eventing skills at an affordable cost. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Area III Adult Riders Program

About Amy Nichols :

Amy lives in Upstate South Carolina and with her husband Geoff Zehnder own and operate Smiling Horse Farm in Sandy Springs, SC. She has competed through the CCI** level and regularly participates in lessons and clinics with top dressage and eventing instructors. Her current students range in age from young to the not-so-young and range in ability from beginner through training level eventing. Her competing students are successful at Area III events and are often placed among the top of the end-of-season Area III rankings.
